Home - Practice Pattern Table of Contents
These rhythm practice patterns feature quarter notes and quarter rests. All of the patterns are in 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4 time, so the quarter note is always equal to one beat. You can learn more about quarter notes and rests on the Lesson 1 instruction page. To get more ideas on how to practice these patterns, visit the practice suggestion page for Lesson 1.
The beats are written underneath each pattern so you can see how to count each pattern. Also, there is an audio recording of each pattern, so you can listen and practice with each one, to make sure that you are practicing correctly.
