Home - Practice Pattern Table of Contents - Lesson 13 Patterns 1301-1312
These rhythm patterns feature examples in a 6/8 time signature with the eighth note equal to one beat. Like Parts 1 and 2 of this lesson, the patterns focus on the subdivided beat, using sixteenth notes. Read the introduction to Lesson 13 to learn exactly how long to count and play different rhythms with an eighth note beat. Also, see the suggestion page for ideas on how to practice these patterns. Listen to the audio recordings below to make sure that you are playing the rhythms accurately.
