Home - Practice Pattern Table of Contents - Lesson 3 Practice Patterns, page 1
Each of these patterns features rhythms with notes that are tied across measure lines, in 4/4 time. Visit page one of Lesson 3 for patterns in 2/4 and 3/4 time. Remember to count the beats for the entire time that you are practicing each pattern so you play them accurately. Visit the suggestion page for ideas on how to practice these rhythms. Every pattern includes an audio file that you can listen to or play along with, to ensure that you are performing correctly. Each audio recording begins with a two-measure count-off before the pattern is played. Find out more about The Fundamentals of Rhythm book by Kyle Coughlin.
